The Holy Name Society/Men's Club is dedicated to promoting spiritual enrichment and social interaction among the men of the parish and service to the parish community. At monthly meetings and various special events, the club provides an opportunity for the men of the parish to get to know one another, engage in dialogue. Long lasting friendships are formed through meetings, retreats, and other faith enriching activities. Our capstone fundraiser is the annual Super Bowl party.

Good News!

The Men’s Club provides service by assisting the parish in putting on activities that require “muscle” – setting up and cleaning up after social events, providing volunteers to usher and clean after Masses, making semi-annual trips to SisterHouse, fixing up the residence for the women who live there while rebuilding their lives, packing boxes for the St. Vincent De Paul food pantry annually, and other forms of service that may come up from time to time.
We provide service by sharing our treasure as well as our time.
The Men’s Club sponsors social events throughout the year including March Madness finals at local restaurants, trips to local minor league ball parks, and our annual Super Bowl party, also held at a local restaurant. We also exercise our culinary talents by cooking the food at the annual parish picnic.
Our Men’s Club newsletter features “Words from the Chaplain” where our chaplain Fr. Rich gives us a thought-provoking message in each issue. And we sponsor the annual parish Morning of Reflection, where an invited speaker shares an uplifting message with all parishioners who attend (it is open to all). And for the last fourteen years, on the first Saturday of the month, members of the Men’s Club have visited local Catholic men and women who are home bound or residing in local nursing facilities.
